After years of physical distancing, you might feel lonely and disconnected from the world and other people. You might be yearning for in-person connection in a safe way.
You may be feeling:
Disconnected from other people
Eager to see more than just a person’s face and shoulders on a webcam
Curious about your body and how you use nonverbal language
Even if you are feeling overwhelmed, in-person therapy can help.
As Your Therapist, I Can Help You Feel Better
My name is Dr. Peter H. Addy and I’m a therapist who is uniquely qualified to help you feel better. I provide therapy in my office to help you get the support and help you need without overloading your system.
My office is located in SE Portland’s Mt. Tabor Neighborhood, right at the northwest corner of Mt. Tabor park. It’s very convenient to both the 15 and the 71 bus lines. Look for Suite 403, which I share with Àureo PDX. The building is ADA compliant and gender neutral bathrooms are available.
My offering in-person services depends on city, county, and state health guidelines. Please check with me to see if and how I offer in-person therapy.

I can provide the support you need to help you find your way towards a grounded, whole life. Even if you’re feeling lost now, I can help guide you in making lasting, positive changes in your life.
I’ve helped people struggling with chronic pain find their way to feeling more capable. My clients discover that it’s possible to get the spark back and fall in love with life again.
I can help you to focus on how the disappointments of the past and fears of the future affect you here and now, in the present. Together, we can help you find meaning and take care of yourself.
If you have trouble leaving the house, or don’t have any therapists nearby, or have a hard time making and keeping appointments, online video therapy may be for you.
