Through open-minded presence, I provide a space where you can be yourself without judgment. Together, we’ll explore how to get to a place where your ups and downs in life are manageable instead of overwhelming.
As your therapist, I will work with you to make sense of your difficulties. I will help you manage your symptoms. I will help you find ways to connect with yourself, other people in your life, and the world around you.
Being a therapist is an honor. I love helping people become healthier and more empowered and watching them transform their lives. The most rewarding thing about being a therapist is seeing a person walk away lighter, more free, and excited about their life.
I am committed to encouraging you to see healing and transformation.
People who know me often say that I am a good listener who can sit with people at their worst and hear them when they are in that space.
I earned my PhD in Clinical Psychology from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology in 2011. While I was there I studied non-ordinary states of consciousness, holistic and all-encompassing views of a person, and ways that these experiences can transform a person and society.
As faculty at Yale School of Medicine I trained in mindfulness-based therapies and research atypical psychedelic substances like salvinorin A and THC. You can read my publications and watch videos about my old research. I also discovered a passion for data management and security which I bring with me to my online therapy practice.
Therapy can help you feel more peace. Let’s discover how I can help. During your free consultation call we will set up a time to have a video call. You can then try out the technology and share what’s going on, and I can answer any questions you might have.
