Through open-minded presence, I provide a safe and judgment-free space where you can authentically be yourself. Together, we’ll explore effective ways to manage the ups and downs of life, making them more manageable and less overwhelming.
As a therapist in Portland, I am dedicated to working collaboratively with you to make sense of your difficulties, manage your symptoms, and establish meaningful connections with yourself, others, and the world around you. My approach integrates psychedelic education, harm reduction and integration, especially for individuals with chronic pain and related health issues.
Being a Therapist is an Honor. Witnessing Transformations is Rewarding.
I am passionate about helping people become healthier, more empowered, and witnessing their transformative journeys. My therapeutic goal is to see you walk away from each session feeling lighter, freer, and excited about life.
People who know me say that I am a good listener who can sit with people at their worst and hear them when they are in that space.
I earned my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology in 2011. While I was there I studied non-ordinary states of consciousness, holistic and all-encompassing views of a person, and ways that these experiences can transform a person and society.
As faculty at Yale School of Medicine I trained in mindfulness-based therapies and research atypical psychedelic substances like salvinorin A and THC. You can read my publications and watch videos about my old research. I also discovered a passion for data management and security which I bring with me to my online therapy practice.
Therapy can help you feel more peace. Let’s discover how I can help. During your free consultation call we will set up a time to have a video call. You can then try out the technology and share what’s going on, and I can answer any questions you might have.
